On May 12-13, 2023 – I had the honor to serve as an adjudicator at the Great Canadian Brass Band Festival along with Aaron Campbell and Kevin Norbury. Congrats to Anita McAlister and everyone involved with this endeavor. I thought it was a smashing success! Also, this is the 2nd time I’ve been to Toronto this year and I have to say that May in Toronto 
is much nicer than January! 
I also got to hear Gary Curtin (euphonium) perform for the first time and was floored by his artistry- he played Vizzutti’s “Carnival of Venus”
